Are you a big fan of hiking and camping like us? This course allows you to enjoy the fun in the outdoors while learning the skills that make your future journey a safe one
The Mountain Craft Courses focus on developing your sense of self reliance, skill sets and environmental awareness as an outdoor traveller.
We are a certified course provider of China Hong Kong Mountaineering and Climbing Union. Upon completion of a course, an official certificate will be issued. We are currently offering 2 levels of Mountain Craft courses:
Level 1 course are perfect for people who have just developed their interests in hiking or those with some experience and would like to further build up their skills and confidence.

Course Details
Itinerary: To comlpete this course, participants need to attend 6 hours of indoor lecture(s) and 2 hiking outings (each lasting about 9 hours during day time)
Age requirement: 12 or above
Participation: Since this is a certificate course, it requires full attendance. Please confirm that you can attend all lectures and outings before signing up. No make-up class will be provided if you are absent.
Fitness level: Participants must feel fit to complete a couple of day hikes with their backpacks on at the outings
No prior experience or knowledge is required for this course.

Level 2 course is a progression of the level 1 course. You will be expanding your knowledge and experiences by going on a couple of overnight backpacking trips.

Itinerary: To complete this course, participants need to attend 9 hours of indoor lecture(s) and 2 overnight camping outings
Age requirement: 14 or above
Participation: Since this is a certificate course, it requires full attendance. Please confirm that you can attend all lectures and outings before signing up. No make-up class will be provided if you are absent.
Fitness level: Participants must feel fit to complete a couple of 2-day hikes with their backpacks on at the outings
Participants need to acquire the level 1 Mountain Craft certificate prior to taking the level 2 course.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Registration for all events ends 14 days before the event date. Participants must complete all registration and payment procedures before the registration closes.
Our climbing and hiking activities are highly weather dependent. We reserve the right to cancel or shorten an activity because of poor weather which could jeopardize our clients' safety.
If an activity is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, clients may elect to switch to another available date or get a full refund if another date is not available.
If an activity is shortened due to poor weather conditions, there is no refund due.
No refund will be given for cancellations/ no show due to other reasons.
